Michel DESSAINT
1954 - 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of a great man, beloved husband, father, brother and uncle, Michel Dessaint, at his home on Monday, September 15, 2025, at the age of 71.
Born in Compton, QC, on June 16, 1954, he was the eldest son of the late Alcide Dessaint and the late Florence Sayers. Anyone who knew him will remember him as a kind, loving, smiling, generous man, who would do anything to help another in need, whether it be human or furry.
He was extremely proud of his family, wife and daughter. He was a gentle spirit with a wonderful sense of humour. He loved fishing and was passionate about hockey, darts and then bowling in his later years.
Mike leaves to mourn his loving wife Dallas Currie of 47 years and his beloved daughter Jessica Dessaint (Leon Francois). He is survived by his siblings Cecile (Denis L'Esperance), Lise (Michel Gaulin), Gerard (France Jeanson), Johanne and Laurette. He was predeceased by his sisters Leonie, Denise, Diane, and his brother Denis. He leaves many nieces, nephews, family and friends that he cherished deeply.
