1940 – 2023
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Nancy Gleason Dubois, at the Hotel Dieu hospital in Sherbrooke, QC, on October 17, 2023, at the age of 83, daughter of the late Willa (Rattray) Gleason and Douglas Gleason of Richmond, QC.
She leaves to mourn her beloved husband of 64 years Jean-Paul Dubois, she will be deeply missed by her children Dennis (Brenda), Daniel-Paul (Ann), David, Diane, Damien (Gracielle), Dara-Lee (Martin) and Darryl (Cynthia). Loving nanny to Jason, Corey, Emily, Matthew (Dorothée), Taylor, Hailey, Madison (Guyto), Cooper, Krista (Bojo), Sierra (Mike) and Amber (Nick).
Predeceased by her brothers Robert Gleason (Joan) Ajax, ON and Dennis (late Lynn) Gleason of Brockville, ON; late sister-in-law Rita, late brother-in-law Florent (Jeannine) Dubois of Richmond, QC and late brother-in-law Tom Hicks of Sorel, QC. Lovingly remembered by her cousin Marnie Thompson and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive condolences at the Cass Funeral Home in Richmond, 295 rue Principal S., on Sunday October 29 as of 11 a.m. A funeral service held at 3 p.m., followed by the burial at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Melbourne, QC.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our friend Brendalee Piironen and the caring and loving staff of the Wales Home - Norton 3. Not to forget her love for bingo and recent admiration for karaoke organised by the activities department.
