Nancy (Munster) McDONOUGH
1931 - 2025
On November 18, 2025, in her 94th year, Nancy (Munster) McDonough passed away at the Magog Hospital after a long and full life.
Nancy was born on September 2, 1931, and was the adopted daughter of the late Albert Munster and Natalie (Seymour) Munster of Sherbrooke, Quebec. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Lawrence McDonough (2023).
Nancy is survived by her four children Mark (Linda), Mary Ellen (Russell), Sean (Micheline) and Bruce (Sheila). Cherished grandmother of Matthew, Andrew, Joel, Nancy Anne, Catherine, Caitlin, Ryan, Elizabeth, Michael and Nancy. Also left to mourn are many great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends.
Nancy was passionate about gardening, adored dogs of all breeds but particularly Labs, and was a keen card player with a competitive spirit. She will be forever remembered with love.
Those wishing to pay their respects are invited to a celebration of life service at the Ledoux Funeral Home, Magog, Quebec, on December 5, 2025. Visitation will start at 10 a.m., followed by the service at 11 a.m.
The family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors on the 3rd floor of the Magog Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their very compassionate and excellent care given to Nancy and her family.
