Philip Lacroix Obituary

Philip LACROIX
1951 – 2026

Peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones, after a courageous battle with cancer, at La Maison Au Diapason on January 25, 2026, at the age of 74, Philip Joseph Stevens Lacroix, resident of Knowlton, Quebec, husband of Linda Potvin, passed away.
Philip, son of the late Joyce Dudley and Georges Lacroix, is remembered by his sons Sean (Yesica) and Steven (Kelly) and five granddaughters. He his survived by his siblings George (Hélène Goyette), Dorothy (Steven Page), Richard (Tammy Lace), Florence (Jean-Jacques Dubuc) and the late Larry (Léa Desgens).
In addition, Philip leaves a strong and caring community of neighbours, friends, and teammates who will miss him deeply.
We honour Philip's love for his family and children, his joy of being involved in their activities and sport, and his generosity as a coach and mentor who always approached life with positivity. He worked in the community as a business owner, volunteer, and always answered the phone to help others. His quiet humour, kindness, and enjoyment for the countryside will be missed.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date.

Dear Linda, Sean, Steven and your families.
Very deepest sympathy for all of you with this terrible sadness. Phil did ALWAYS answer the telephone to help and was teasing, competent and generous with his time for sure. Thinking of simpler and happier days on this property with you.
