Rena Ida Louise (Munkittrick) HALSALL
1929 - 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce her passing on July 16, 2024 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital in Sherbrooke.
Predeceased by her husband Albert and her children Louise, Ricky, Judy and Thomas. She is survived by her children Herb, Bob, Joan (Jonathan), Betty Jane (Dave), David (Jacqueline), and Steven (Michelle). She leaves many grandchildren and great and great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by brothers Cecil, Robert and Roland and sisters Dorothy, Dora, Laura, and Irene and her best friend Marion. Survived by sister Betty Lou and brothers Carl and Tom.
Born in Lime Ridge, Quebec and grew up in Marbleton. She lived on the family farm in Birchton since 1959.
She will be fondly remembered for being a very sociable and outgoing lady who loved her family, and her pets - Marcus and Ginger, her church activities, and working in her flower and vegetable gardens.
Arrangements entrusted to Cass Funerals Homes.
The family will be present at the Cookshire Trinity Church (190 Principale West) for visitation on Friday, July 26 from 2-4 and 6-8 and Saturday, July 27 from 12:45-1:45. The celebration of her life will follow at 2 p.m. at the church. Burial at Malvern Cemetery in Lennoxville immediately following the service. Reception at the Bulwer Community Center after burial.
Donations in her memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society Daffodil Campaign or the Charity of Your Choice

To the entire Halsall family, I send my sincere condolences. To Herb, a friend from public school in Cookshire, I send special condolences. Your Mom lived a good, long life and now she is reunited with loved ones who passed before her and living in eternal peace.
