At the CHUS-Hôtel-Dieu Sherbrooke on April 22, 2025, at the age of 86, Mr. Samuel L'Espérance passed away, husband of the late Mrs. Margaret Robertson, residing in Coaticook, formerly of Compton.
He is survived by his children Denis (Nathalie Ruel), Clément (Brigitte Bilodeau), Lucie (Mario Trudeau) and Julie (Frédérick Martineau); grandchildren Stéphanie, Sophie (Mathieu), Marc (Mélissa), Pierre, Charles-André (Kim), Alexia (Vincent), Sabrina (Philippe) and Audrey (Cédrik); great-grandchildren Lucas, Félicia, Chloé, Miguël, Mavrik, Avery, Aurélia and Owen; brothers Gérard (Sylvie Martel), Thomas (Denise Bernard) and Camille (Ginette Marcotte); many nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was the brother of the late Thérèse (late Gaston Vallières) and the late Henri; brother-in-law of the late John Robertson, the late Robert "Peanut" Robertson (Mavis) and the late Mary Robertson.
The family will welcome relatives and friends at the Centre funéraire coopératif de la région de Coaticook, 284 Child Street, Coaticook, QC, J1A 2B7, on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m.
The family would like to thank resident Cédric Auger and the entire palliative care team at CHUS-Hôtel-Dieu Sherbrooke for the good care they provided Mr. L'Éspérance.
