Sidney BROUILLETTE
1964 - 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Sidney Jean Brouillette, which occurred at the Granby Hospital on December 12, 2025, at the age of 61, following a valiant fight against cancer.
Predeceased by his father Redmond Brouillette and his mother Juliette Lyth, both lifelong residents in Knowlton. He is survived by his son Cameron (Marjorie) and his daughter Rebecca; his stepdaughters Héloïse (Samuel), Alexandrine (Frédéric) and Charlotte; his grandchildren Lily-Rose, Madeline, Florent, Aurèle, and Abby; his sisters Suzanne (Claude) and Louise (François); his niece and nephew Sophie (Julien) and Vincent (Sophie); as well as by many relatives, colleagues, and close friends.
A bon vivant with a cheerful, generous, and kind soul, he had undeniable presence, and we are deeply grateful for the time with him that was awarded to us. We would also like to highlight the extraordinary resilience and grace he showed in the last years of his life.
The family will welcome you on Saturday January 10 from 12 noon to 3 p.m. at Désourdy Funeral Home, 101 Jean-Besré St., Cowansville, QC, J2K 0L3, 450-263-1212, www.desourdy.ca. The funeral service will take place on the same day in the chapel at 3 p.m.
We encourage you to express your condolences by way of a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Cancer Research Society.
