Vernal “Vern” Carson Doyle Obituary

Vernal "Vern" Carson Doyle passed away in Drummondville on April 7, 2021. Born August 2, 1941 in Ulverton, Quebec, Vern was the only child of Samuel Archer Doyle and Frances Jane Carson, who predeceased him. Vern worked at the Celanse factory in Drummondville for a short time before beginning a life-time office career with the Canadian National Railway. Taking early retirement, he then lived full-time at his home in St. Nicephore, near L'Avenir, enjoying his garden, and helping out his friends and neighbours. Sadly missed by his many cousins and friends. Committal at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

I will miss all your wonderful cards, letters and the late night calls. We always had some good laughs and reminiscing of old times. May you rest in peace dear cousin.

I fondly remember so many great visits with Vern in Sherbrooke while he visited the Bogie Family. Vern referred to the Bogie girls as being his “sisters”. Rest In Peace dear Vern.
