Passed away Friday, March 4, 2022, at the age 59 surrounded by his family. Andy was born on March 20th, 1962 in Scarborough. He moved to Alliston at the age of 5 when his parents started Alliston Volkswagen. His love for cars continued throughout his childhood and led him to pursue becoming an Automotive Mechanic and later he became the General Manager and Owner. In 1986 he married the love of his life Lorine Medel. Andy is a loving father to Christian (Katrina) Alex and Olivia. Loving grandfather to Aurora, Cash and Waylon. Loved son of Barbara Fandrich and predeceased by his father Helmut in 2020 and son-in-law of Ernest and Katie Medel. Loving brother to Ursula Rausch (Thomas) and brother-in-law to Bill Medel (Doris) and Ruth McCorkle (Doug). Uncle to Christopher (Emily), Hannah, Rachel (Nathan), Melissa (Jared), Ryan (Natalie), Brianna (Pat), Stephanie, Madison (Trevor). He will be dearly missed by his extended family and many friends.
Funeral service will be held at Alliston Pentecostal Church 7810 Hwy. 89, Alliston on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. The church will open at 1:00 p.m. for friends and family to gather before Andy's service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Loads of Love - Ukraine Crisis (https://www.canadahelps.org/) would be appreciated. Interment Alliston Union Cemetery.

I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

My sincere condolences to Lorine, Ursula, Barbara and their families. I have fond memories of Andy in our teen-age years. He was a good friend and we had many good times and conversations together.
