Betty Dermott Obituary
Passed away peacefully at Matthews House Hospice surrounded by her loved ones at her side. Predeceased by her beloved husband Alvin. Loving Mom of Rick (Brigitte), Rob (Bonnie) and Valerie (Shawn). She will be greatly missed by her 6 grand children and 8 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Edith and will be fondly remembered by her many other family and friends. Visitation will be held at W. John Thomas Funeral Home, 244 Victoria St. E., Alliston on Friday December 10 from 10 am until the time of service in the Chapel at 11 am. Interment Alliston Union Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations to Matthews House Hospice would be appreciated.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs Dermott was one of the best and kindest teachers I had growing up in Everett. She was also a wonderful neighbour to our farm. I will always remember her with great fondness.
