Betty WRIGHT Obituary
Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday December 22, 2021, in her 91st year.
Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Wright. Loved mother of Ronald Wright, Ann Knelsen (Wayne Smith), Geoffrey Wright, Stanley Wright (Sarah). Loving grandmother of Graeme, Eden, Melissa, Jared and great-grandmother of Bethany, David, Cassandra and Ava.
Betty was born in Doire, Northern Ireland where she met and married her husband of 68 years Ken. She traveled to Ottawa with their two young children to be with her military husband in 1956. Together they spent time in Ont., B.C., Germany, Alberta, eventually settling in Ontario, spending the last 43 years in the Alliston area. She was known for her easy smile, her infectious laugh and her love of life. She wanted to say a special thank you to all of the care givers who have supported her, Ken and their family over the past few years. No formal funeral service or memorial service is currently planned. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Matthews House Hospice.
