Peacefully at Matthews House Hospice, after a short battle with Cancer. Loving husband of Melody (nee Webster). Caring dad to his children, step-children, officially adopted and unofficially adopted children. He enjoyed his years as a Southern Ontario truck driver while being a part-time taxi driver when the children were young. He established his Crown Carpet Care business and became a Beam Central Vacuum sales and repair owner, finally retiring when he was 82 years old. He spent many hours on the road with his family going camping, visiting National Parks, fishing, boating and Disney adventures with children and grandchildren. His two great-grandchildren will enjoy heaven with him eventually. Bruce took Melody on several cruises to warm countries, sometimes with friends or adult family. His Friday morning breakfast buddies will miss his presence. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at Alliston Pentecostal Church on May 28th at 1:00 p.m., refreshments afterward. A huge thank you to everyone that helped our family during Bruce's few days at Matthews House Hospice. Their caring dedication and compassion are very much appreciated by our family. Donations to the
Cancer Society or Matthews House Hospice in Bruce's memory would be very much appreciated.
Arrangements entrusted to Drury Funeral Centre, Alliston 705-435-3535.
