Peacefully after struggling several years with illness, Chuck "Red" Clements passed away on August 30. He was predeceased in late 2020 by his beloved wife, Phyllis of nearly 64 years. Red, the only child of Ted and Margaret Clements of Alliston, and will be missed by his children, Chuck Jr and Cheryl (Vahe). Known as Pa to his grandchildren, his jokes will be missed by Amanda (Andrew), Mitch (Emily), Jeff (Amanda), Lindsay (Russell) and Julia (Greg). He was blessed with several great-grandchildren, Brooklynn, Sarah, Daniel, Jennifer, Tommy, Archer, Jack, Brynley, and another bundle due in December. As we were unable to properly celebrate the life of Phyl in 2020 due to COVID restrictions, this will be a joint funeral for both Red & Phyl. Visitation will be held at W. John Thomas Funeral Home, 244 Victoria St. E., Alliston on Friday, September 9th from 10 a.m. until time of service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment at Alliston Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to RVH in Barrie where Phyl was a volunteer for over 15 years.
