STARR, Christopher Left his physical body on October 17, 2018. He was 45. He is deeply loved by his family who are devastated by his sudden death. He is survived by his three daughters, Lara, Ella and Logan; wife Lee Anne, mother of his first born Meghan; siblings, Russell and Alida; mother and father, Donna and Michael; nephew and niece, Conner and Caitlin; and many who adore him. Chris Starr was an inventor, idea person, natural athlete, and daredevil. He was an amazing teacher, father, brother, son, husband, cousin, uncle and friend. He found peace in the mountains and on the water and at his grandfather's cottage on Georgian Bay. He was a fearless advocate for First Nations students, and a devoted teacher. Free spirit, Chris always showed up late, and tirelessly sided with the underdog. None of us could stay mad at him. We miss his laughter already, but energy can neither be created nor destroyed. Look for him next time the snow falls, the rain comes, or a fire is burning. There will be celebrations of life for Chris on November 17th in Barrie, December 15th in Collingwood, February 23rd in Calgary and a May 24th long weekend bust out.
