Donna Henderson Obituary
It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of a beautiful soul. (PEARL) Donna Marie Henderson passed away suddenly at the Royal Victoria Hospital on Wednesday July 27, 2022, after a long-fought health battle, her family were there. Pearl was in her 73rd year, born on March 1, 1950. A daughter, sister, cousin, wife, mother, aunt, grandma, great-grandma, and friend. She was surrounded by immediate family for a final goodbye at the LeClair Cremation Centre. As per her wishes, arrangements have been made to add her cremated remains to her favorite cookie jar and placed with her son Jeff Henderson at the Port McNicoll Cemetery as her final resting place at a later date. Donna was the Matriarch of her family; the glue that held it all together. She dedicated her life to being a support to her children, grandchildren and anyone who crossed her path in need. She had a beautiful soul and could help anyone with the ups and downs in life because she experienced it all, love, pain, loss, struggle, happiness, adventure and much more. Her sassy approach to life helped her through the best and worst of times. If you were in her presence her smile and kindness made anyone, feel welcomed. Heaven has gained a rare gem "PEARL". Donna was predeceased by her parents; Margaret (Peggy) and Bruce (Duke) Smith, her son; Jeff Henderson, brother; Billy Smith, sisters; Marsha and Judy Smith. She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband of 58 years, Dan Henderson, her side kick Tilly, sister; Jenny (Bill) Dunn, brothers; Craig (Wanda)Smith, Danny (Brenda) Smith, Steve and Scott Smith, daughter; Laurie Henderson-Hawke and husband Allan Hawke, son; Jady Henderson, her grandchildren; Tysha, Lacey, Dan, Austin, Brody, Missy, Matt and Erica, her great-grandchildren; Emery, Darian, Kameron, Harmony, Hudson, Destiny, Deja, Raevyn, Rico, Noah, Zion, Owen, Trinity, Tyson, Dylan, Savannah, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Donations in Donna's memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
