Doug POORES Obituary
POORES, Doug It is with great sadness that the family of Doug Poores announces his peaceful passing surrounded by family on Thursday, August 2, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer. Doug is survived by his wife Helen of 52 years, daughter Laurie Renaud (Carl), son Justin and sister Sharon Chisholm (John). Many loving, nieces, nephews and extended family. Doug was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend to everyone. A special thank you to the staff at Campbell House Hospice for their loving care and support during his final days. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, August 15th from 2:30 until 4:30 p.m. at the Bear Estate, in Collingwood. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Georgian Triangle - Campbell House or Collingwood General and Marine Hospital.
