Edith McINNES

McInnes, Edith (nee Young) passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 29, 2022, at the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital in her 90th year. Wife of the late Donald (2001). Edith is survived by her children Marie (John) Stephenson, Gerald, Debbie (Peter) Hodgins and Raymond (Marie), daughters-in-law Peggy and Connie McInnes and son-in-law Brendan Coleman. She was predeceased by sons Glen, Ronald, Murray and Ross, daughter Ann Coleman and granddaughter Laura. She will be forever cherished by her grandchildren Corey (Corinna), Tracey (Robert), Jessica (Stewart), Brandi (Mike), Caleigh (Dan), Sarah (Ray), Lisa (Brad), Jodie (Pete), Glenda (Doug) and Donald (Cherise) and 22 great-grandchildren. Edith was born in Osprey to parents Harvey and Mabel Young, she is survived by her brother Garvin, predeceased by her sister Georgina and brother-in-law Claude. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 18, 2022, from 1-4 p.m. at the Badjeros Community Centre.
