Edward GELFAND Obituary
My best friend, my love Ed, passed away peacefully with his family at Matthews House Hospice, Alliston on Saturday December 12, 2020. Beloved husband of Carol Gelfand. Loved father of Debra (Walter) Geoff (Lucy). Loving grandpa of Tina (Marco), Alex (Scott), Tyler and great-grandpa of Mila, Nico and Charlie. Dear brother of Geri (late George), Charlie (Kathy) and predeceased by Dora (Lou), Larry (Barb), Albert (Eva). Edward will be fondly remembered by Saul, Craig (Lynne), Bob, Thelma (Dan), Donna and his many extended family and friends. A Celebration of Edward's life will be held at a time that we are able to gather in larger groups again. If so desired memorial donations to Matthews House Hospice would be appreciated. Eddie and I were best friends (and blood brothers) at St Anthony's Elementary School . That was about 70 years ago. I remember him still after all these years and offer my condolences to his family.
