1943-2021
Elizabeth Clara Marie "Betty" (Fudge) Biddiscombe - 78, formerly of Windsor, NL, passed away in Kentville, NS on September 27, 2021. Betty was predeceased by her parents, Clara and Thomas Fudge; brothers, Edward and Tommy (Shirley); and brother-in-law, Ketch Smith, all formerly of Windsor, NL.
Left to celebrate and give thanks for her life, her husband of 52 years, George "Mitch"; son, Michael Biddiscombe (Vanessa Real) and precious granddaughter, Jasmine Biddiscombe, Saskatchewan; daughter, Michele Biddiscombe and special grandson, Kayden Halloch, Barrie, ON; cherished sisters, Gladys Smith, Windsor, NL; Vivian (Cal) Anstey, Ottawa, ON; Ivy (Roger) Higdon, Kentville, NS; sister-in-law, Madeline, Windsor, NL; as well as many friends and relatives in NL, ON and NS.
Betty graduated from the Salvation Army Grace General Hospital School for Nursing in 1966. Her career as a Registered Nurse was focused on her love of the Obstetrics Department. She began her career in Grand Falls, NL, from there to Halifax, NS, Oromocto, NB, Pembrook, ON, Germany Military Base and finished her nursing career of 31 years at the Royal Victoria in Barrie, ON.
There will be no visitation. A celebration of Betty's life will be held at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the Kings County SPCA. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville. On-line condolences and inquiries may be directed to www.whitefamilyfuneralhome.com.
