SPENCER, Gordon Wallace Passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the age of 84. Gordon of Wasaga Beach, beloved husband of Donna Spencer for 25 years. Loving father of Kelly Wiggins, Brenda (Ralph) Borland, Bruce (Joanne) Francis and of Cheryl Spencer. Cherished grandfather of 15 amazing grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Kathy Spencer-Smith and Mavis Spencer. Gordon will also be missed his many friends, particularly those he met with the many community organizations he supported. Gordon was a Mason for over 48 years and will be missed by his Brethren. Friends are invited to join the family for a Memorial Gathering at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home - Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. A Masonic Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. and visitation between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. will include a message from Gordon's friend Reverend Jim Cooper. If desired, donations in Gordon's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stoke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the Spencer Family.
