Hilda Coney NOBLE

NOBLE, Hilda Coney (nee Skinner) Passed away peacefully at the General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood, on Monday, April 23, 2018, in her 80th year. Hilda, beloved wife of Wayne Noble for 30 years. Devoted and cherished mother and grandma of David (Janet) Downer and their children Kate and Victoria; Sandra (Michael) Christie and their children Kelly and Rachel; and the late Anne Patterson and her children Sarah and Erin. Stepmother and stepgrandma of Anne Noble and her children Maggie and Abbey. Hilda was the youngest of five children having four older brothers Cyril (Sydney), Jack (Ruth), Ken (Marlene) and Doug (Marilynn). Loving aunt of Brian (Carol) and their children Brian-Paul and Morgan (Sanam); Colin (Wendy), John (Joanne), Barry and his daughter Kasey; Holly, Michael, Bradley (Christy) and their children Molly and Elizabeth. Sadly missed by all her dear friends and the wonderful times shared together. Hilda was the centre and heart of her family. She showed unwavering devotion to all of her family. After school training in Insurance with Regal Insurance which became Global Insurance, Hilda ran an Insurance brokerage, Downer and Downer for 20 years, then as a Registered Insurance Broker with Noble Insurance for 15 years and loved every minute of the business. Hilda enjoyed life; good times, skiing, playing golf, tennis, squash and playing duplicate bridge. Hilda was known in Collingwood for her volunteer efforts for over 40 years. Friends may call at the Chatterson Funeral Home, Collingwood, ON, on Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 1 - 4 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life on Monday, at All Saints Anglican Church, 32 Elgin Street, Collingwood, ON, at 11 a.m. Reception following the service at Bear Estate, 300 Balsam Street, Collingwood, to celebrate Hilda's life. Interment of ashes at All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Collingwood, ON.
