James OLDFIELD Obituary

It is with heavy hearts our family shares the news that Jim passed away peacefully at home with his wife and children at his side on Thursday, November 11, 2021. Beloved husband of 41 years to Susan. Dad will always be loved and remembered by Heather (Ron Shilling), Jamie (Lauren) and Brittany (Steve Grouette). Papa will be missed by his grandchildren Samantha, Alyssa, Emma, Will and Carter and his great-grandchildren Madelynn, Kaydence, Greyson and also his furry pals Winter, Smokey and Mickey. Dear brother to Debbie and Bill, Linda and the late Barry, Bev and Lou, Louise and the late Wayne, the late Vaughan and Bud, Pat, Gary and Erma and brother-in-law to Debbie and Jaani. Jim will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Our family extends our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at the Ross Memorial Hospital, especially the exceptional care of Laurel and Dr. Italiano of the palliative care team. Our family will be celebrating Jim's life quietly and privately at our family farm. If desired, donations in memory of Jim to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes would be appreciated.

Sue, Heather, Jamie and Brittany, I am so incredibly sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I know he will be incredibly missed by all who knew him. I will always think of him fondly as a hard worker and a kind man with an infectous laugh.
