James Jeffery "Jeff" Rentner

Passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday November 16, 2022 in his 45th year. Beloved son of James and Donna Rentner (nee Cruickshanks). Loving brother of Erin Rentner. Survived by his aunts and uncles Frank Cruickshanks, Clyde Cruickshanks, Dan Vanderstelt, Kelly Woodcock, Vern & Ann Rentner and Roger Rentner. Jeff will be greatly missed by his cousins, many friends, and co-workers at Home Depot. He was well liked by his friends kids that called him 'uncle dodo' or 'uncle Jeff'. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Predeceased by his grandparents Frank and Elsie Cruickshanks, Russell and Verna Rentner, his aunts Vicki Eccles and Norma Vanderstelt. Jeff was a true sports fan and collector of sports memorabilia. He loved to golf, fish, and tend to his garden and fishpond at home. Arrangements entrusted to the Chatterson Funeral Home, Collingwood. A Celebration of Jeff's life will be held in the auditorium of the Collingwood Legion, Branch #63, 490 Ontario Street, Collingwood on Friday November 25, 2022 from 2:00-5:00p.m., with a service of remembrance and refreshments at 3:00p.m. A donation in his memory may be made to the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation.
