January 13, 1946 Edinburgh, Scotland - April 9, 2022 Barrie, Ontario
Passed away at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on Saturday April 9, 2022 at the age of 76. Loving mother of Janine Gatheral (Rick) Jocelyn Moreau (Ken). Cherished grandmother of Justin (Emma), Matt, Meadow, Regan and Reese who meant the world to her. Dear sister of Jim (Vicky) and aunt of Carol. Janis is predeceased by her parents James and Mary Gilheany, sister Betty Gilheany and grandson Zane Moreau. She will be fondly remembered and cherished by her dear friends Saulange, Sue, Joan, Mary, Denise, Nana Joan, Lynnda and cousin Joan. Granny will be greatly missed by many of her children's friends whom she loved as her own. There will be no public service held. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
