John SWALES Obituary
January 10, 1942- February 3, 2022
John passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 3, 2022 at Hospice Huronia Tomkins House in his 81st year. Loving husband of 60 years to Joyce Swales (Nee Turner). Caring dad to John Jr. (Margaret), David (Marian) and Susan. Papa to Amanda, Nicholas, Kyle and Marissa. Great-papa to Aubree and Ava. Brother to Molly (the late Dr. I Uy), his twin Rosemary (Collin Mitchell) and Bonnie (Doug Faint). Brother-in-law to Joan (late Doug Henderson), Bob Turner (Fran) and Calvin Turner (Trudy). Predeceased by his parents Ruth and Carlyle Swales. John was a hard worker and spent a great deal of his time as a sailor and finished his professional career at Baytech Plastics in Midland. He will be lovingly remembered by many friends and extended family. Cremation has taken place with a graveside service to be held in the spring. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Huronia Tomkins House. Arrangements entrusted to Nicholls Funeral Home.
