May 5, 1925 - September 27, 2021
Clifford Woolner in his 97th year passed away peacefully at his daughter Sharen and Sam's home in Loretto where he had been living since his release from hospital in February.
Clifford was married to Rhoda Patterson for 64 years till she passed in 2009. Together they raised 5 children Doug (Lynda) Woolner, Patricia (Bruce) Bowman, Sharen (Ambrose) Keenan, Sheila (Donald) Morden, Dan (Barb) Woolner. Cliff and Rhoda had 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Cliff and Rhoda loved to dance and listen to country music, they loved to travel especially to Las Vegas to visit his late brother Hugh (Marilyn) Woolner, and many social and family events with his late sister Ruth (Keith) Halbert. Cliff got back into going to Jamboree's and the coffee shop with friends. Cliff and Dorothy Caldwell partnered up after a time as they both loved to dance and music and family, having mostly the same group of friends, they stayed together doing the things they loved for the next 10 years till Dorothy's sudden passing on April 1, 2021. We think of her everyday. Even though many of Cliff's peers have passed on, he will be missed by his many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friendships he cultivated over the years.
We would like to thank Dr. Farrugia whom never failed to answer the call. Matthews House Hospice for their support every week, the PSWs who came twice a week to assist with his personal care and RN Kayla whom was constant and great with Dad.
Visitation will be held at Drury Funeral Centre 519 Victoria St. E. Alliston from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 noon on Monday, October 4, 2021. In lieu of flowers a donation big or small to Matthews House Hospice or a
charity of your choice would always be appreciated.
