Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday March 2, 2022 at Matthews House Hospice. She was in her 73rd year.
Beloved wife of 52 years to David Wheeler of Alliston. Loved mother of Kelli Schroeder (late Ted) and Jeremy Wheeler (Shannon). Loving grandmother of Aidan Schroeder, Jacob, Lucas and James Wheeler. Dear sister of Doug, Debbie, Donna, Gary, Gayle and predeceased by Ernie. Lois will be fondly remembered by her extended family and many friends.
Lois was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister and friend. Lois was extremely organized at work and at home. She loved a road trip with her family. Whether a short drive or a trip across the country, she was happy just enjoying the adventure. She was never one to say no to a hot cup of tea, especially if shared. Her delicious meals and wonderful baked goods will be missed. Lois cherished her family and friends and they adored her. She loved helping her clients through her work. She will be remembered by all.
God saw you getting tired when a cure was not to be. So He wrapped his arms around you, and whispered, "Come with me." You didn't deserve what you went through, so He gave you rest. God's garden is now more beautiful, He only takes the best. So when we saw you sleeping, now peaceful and free from pain, we could not wish you back to suffer that again.
If so desired memorial donations to Matthews House Hospice, Alliston would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Drury Funeral Centre, Alliston. 705-435-3535.
