Lorna MCLENNAN Obituary

August 11, 1946 - May 1, 2023

It is with sadness that we the family announce the peaceful passing of our much-loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Lorna Mae (Herrington) McLennan, following a lengthy battle with illness, at V.O.N. Sakura House, Woodstock, on Monday, May 1, 2023, at the age of 76 years. Born in Brampton to the late Leonard and Ella (nee Harvey) Herrington. In her working years, Lorna will be remembered for her years of dedicated employment at the Livingston's Centre, Tillsonburg, where she was employed as an Office Clerk. Lorna was also an avid volunteer/clerk with the Norwich and District Museum. Lorna is dearly missed by her much loved husband "Ray" McLennan, of Tillsonburg. Always a caring mother to Kirk (Latoya) McLennan; Kelly (Tracy) McLennan; and to Kevin McLennan. Much loved grandmother to Tichina, Konnor, Kloe, Breanna, Josiah, and Aisling. Survived by two siblings Maureen Herrington (late Charlie McLeod) and Glen Herrington. Predeceased by two siblings Morris Herrington (survived by his wife Mary); Lyle Herrington (late wife Donna). Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends, neighbours, and relatives were invited to attend public visitation and celebration of Lorna's life on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes Chapel, 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg. Everyone who knew Lorna is invited to share favourite memories, send personal condolences, order flowers or contribute memorial donations to the "VON Oxford" (to benefit Sakura House) or to the "Salvation Army, Tillsonburg" via Lorna's online tribute page at www.verhoevefuneralhomes.com or by contacting the Maurice J.
