Marie Zapletal Obituary

Marie Zapletal (Zabranksy), beloved wife, sister, mother, and grandmother, passed away on Tuesday, July 12th, 2022, peacefully at the Villa Care Centre, in Midland. Born on June 4th 1931, in ZlÃn, Czechoslovakia, she is predeceased by her parents; husband, Walter Zapletal; eldest son, Walter; and daughter-in-law Jo-Anne. Marie leaves behind her two sisters Vera (Ed) Svoboda and Ann (Karl) Eder, and youngest son, Edward (Lynne) Zapletal. Marie was deeply loved by her grandchildren Walter (Kristina) Zapletal; Greg Zapletal; Stefan (Ashli) Zapletal; and Carly (Krystal) Philion. She was a proud great-grandmother of Olivia, Charlize, Ella, and Kallie. Burial at St. Anne's Cemetery in Penetanguishene; a celebration of life will follow.
