Merv passed away peacefully, at Mariposa House Hospice, Severn, on Friday, June 24, 2022 in his 89th year. Lifelong resident of Orillia. Beloved husband of June (nee Watt). Loving father of Karen Gordon & partner Dennis (husband Ralph predeceased) of Barrie, David James & wife Stephanie of Oro-Medonte and Lisa James McKenzie & husband William (Bill) of Orillia. Gramper of Ashley and Derrick Gordon and partner Lindsay, Danyelle, Robbie and Natalie James and husband Kelly, Lindsay, and Max Kay McKenzie and Gramper Gramper of Ruby June and Jonas James. Son of the late Albert & Yetta James, formerly of Orillia. Dear brother of Lillia Parkes of Mississauga, Helen Edinger of Guelph and Audrey Edinger of Sicamous, BC (all predeceased). Lovingly remembered by the Watt Family. Cremation to take place. A Celebration of Merv's Life was held at the Mundell Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 29th at 2 pm.
