It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Michael Anthony Emms on Sunday, March 21, 2021. Mike died peacefully at the age of sixty-seven, in the arms of his wife surrounded by his children at the Chatham-Kent Hospice. He is predeceased by his parents Dorsey and Ina (Howcroft) Emms. Mike was a loving husband for almost thirty-five years to his wife Elizabeth (Warwick), father to son Brandon (Laura), and daughter Danielle. Pops was the proud and loving grandfather to Callum and Sam. Mike will also be missed by his loyal pets Zoey and Charlie. Mike was a devoted and generous medical gas technician for over twenty-five years. He shared his compassion and respect for others in this role allowing him to resonate strong family values with everyone he met. Whether he was watching the Bruins game or playing games with his kids, he made memories that will live with all of us forever. He is also survived by his siblings Edward (Helen), Joanne (Wayne) Dorsey, Jennifer (Paul) Arbour, James, Howard, Terilynn Castonguay, Marrianne (Bill) Emms and Lori (Andrew) Carter. He is predeceased by brothers Patrick, Jeffrey and infant sister. He will be missed by several nieces and nephews and his father-in-law Bill (Joan) Warwick. Friends and relatives may visit at the Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120) on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 from 7 - 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 11 am in Blessed Sacrament Church. Those wishing to attend the visiting and mass must sign up on our website or by calling the funeral home. Everyone must wear a mask. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
