Muriel FARRAR Obituary

FARRAR, Muriel (nee Kennedy) Passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Bay Haven Care Community at the age of 99 years. Muriel, was the beloved wife of the late Lloyd Farrar and proud and loving mother of Julie. She is survived by her sisters Marian (the late Leslie) Hudson of Oakville and Eileen (the late Charlie) Crysler of Collingwood. Aunt Muriel will be lovingly remembered by David (Aida) Hudson, Michael (Kathy) Hudson, Kathy (Guy) Dorbeck, Robert (Pamela) Crysler, Sharon Blackmere (Al Matchett), Mari Ann (Michael) Botting, Sue Ann Rothwell, Nancy Crysler (Lenore Berkeley), Ted Crysler and her many great and great-great-nieces and nephews. Muriel was an integral part of A.R.C Industries (now e3 Community Services) and worked hard to advocate for those with special needs to ensure access to services and care. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Family and friends will be received for visitation at Fawcett Funeral Home - Collingwood Chapel on Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment at First Presbyterian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Muriel to e3 Community Services or First Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
