It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, following a farm accident. Bob is survived by his wife Mary, predeceased by his wife Colleen. He will be remembered as the proud and loving father of Mike and his wife Kim Giffen and Lori and her husband Paul Pitcher and missed by Mary's children Trista (Jani) Hannan and Tracy (Raul) Hannan. He will be forever cherished by his grandchildren William, Lucas, Jack, Zoe, Blaise, Leonardo and Mila. Born in Collingwood to parents Francis "Frank" and Mary "Eileen" Giffen, Bob is survived by his sisters Patricia (John) Sawarna, Fran (Guy) Levesque and brothers John, Gerry (Ruth); predeceased by sister Margaret (late Peter) Wilson. He will be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and friends throughout the community. A private family service will be held at Fawcett Funeral Home - Collingwood Chapel with interment at St. Patrick's Cemetery. A celebration of life will be planned for spring 2022.
