Roy Ellwood Sheppard

Passed away peacefully at the Leacock Care Centre, Orillia on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 in his 88th year. Born in Orillia to the late George and Christina Sheppard. Beloved husband of Mary Sheppard (nee Kirby) for 51 years. Loving father of Kelly Smith (Peter). Proud grandfather of Kyle (Chanelle) and Brandon. Dear brother of George (Ruth). Predeceased by Jean Collar (late George), Marie Canning (Murray Bruce -survived), Elmer (late Evelyn), Clarence (Hazel-survived), and Howard (late Jackie). Roy will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family wish to extend a special thank you to Dr. Kelley Wright, Michael Peirone, and the staff at Leacock Care Centre for their compassionate care, also thank you to Dr. Peter Daniel for many years of care. In keeping with Roy's request cremation has taken place, no services will be held.
