Ruth Helen Cornfield

Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Campbell House in her 96th year. Ruth was predeceased by her beloved husband Vernon (2019). She will be remembered as the proud and loving mother of Keith (Diane) Cornfield, Bill (Cindy) Weir, Wayne (Anita) Cornfield and Nancy (Richard Maecker) Weir. She will be forever cherished by her grandchildren Annette, Denise, Andrew, Julianne, Jeff, Krista, Chris, Michelle, Lesley, David, Matthew, Rodney, Crystal, and Robyn, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Ruth was born in Thessalon to parents David and Jean Smith, she was predeceased by her brothers Raymond, Leonard and Murray and daughters Donna Lloyd and Carol Hayman. A private service was held at Fawcett Funeral Home on Saturday, September 18, 2021, with interment at First Presbyterian Cemetery.
