Sue DOSSO Obituary

DOSSO, Sue September 24, 1953-March 26, 2018 Sue Dosso took her final curtain call March 26th after a long career as an actor. Sue started at the age of eleven and continued until her successful performance in Calendar Girls here in Orillia, Ontario. She appeared on stage, screen and in numerous commercials - fully clothed or not. Being multi-talented she had other careers; she was a successful political wife helping her husband Jeffrey Holec get elected - although, if truth be known, she really did not like being Mrs. Mayor. As with most actors, she held many jobs, from bank teller to caterer between her acting engagements. Sue developed into an excellent cook and enjoyed nothing more than spending time entertaining friends with special dishes. Her warm and loving personality lit up any kitchen party as much as any stage. She truly valued her friends and was always willing to go out of her way to somehow make their day a bit brighter and better. Her laughter and smile will be remembered as much as any performance on stage or screen. So, please take a moment and silently give Sue a round of applause as she leaves our stage. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #34, 215 Mississaga St. W., Orillia, on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes , 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595.
