Thomas FOCKENS

Passed away peacefully at Mariposa House Hospice on Saturday, January 1, 2022, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Carol Fockens (nee McGrath) for 61 years. Loving father of Thomas (Andrea), of Orillia, Jim (Rosanne) of Barrie), and Mike (Eilish) of Windsor. Proud Opa for Gavin (Joy), Mara (Thomas), Beatrice (Asa), Broderick, Braeden, Thomas, Nathan, Lauren, Kyle, and Mikayla; great grandfather of Dean and Bert. Dear brother of Agnietje Fockens, Berend Fockens, Roelof Suvee (Siska), Willem Suvee (Thea), Kea Johan Krebs, Bert Fockens (Dinie), and Willmina Fockens-predeceased. Thomas will be dearly missed by his family and friends in the Netherlands and Canada. In keeping with Thomas' wishes cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held at a later date when it is safe to gather.
