STARR, Wayne Austin

March 3, 1946 - April 15, 2019

Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Monday, April, 15th. Loving father of Shauna Starr (Doug Harrison) of Victoria B.C., Amanda Starr (Brandon Bailey) of Elliot Lake and Joshua Starr of Edmonton. Dear Grampa of Bonnie and Danika Krystyna. Sadly missed by mother, Iona (Loney) Starr of Barrie, formerly Oro-Medonte, Sisters June Starr of Barrie and Joyce Delong (Albert) of Oro-Medonte. Predeceased by wife Krystyna (Neickarz) Starr and father Harold Starr. Starr as his friends knew him, was in the Canadian Armed Forces from 1964-1974. One of his most memorable moments was being in the Queen's Honour Guard when Queen Elizabeth visited Canada. Thank you to the doctors and nurses in ICU at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre for their diligence and support. Cremation will take place. Possible Celebration of Life to follow at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre or Heart & Stroke Foundation.
