William Handy Obituary
Passed away at the Georgian Village and Manor on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the age of 88. Loving husband of 62 years to Virginia Handy (nee Bath). Dear father of Glen (Tina) Handy. Cherished grandad of Kyle Handy. William is predeceased by his parents William and Elva, also by his siblings Mary and Lorne. William will be sadly missed by his sister Anne, Mary-Lou and by many nieces and nephews.
William owned and operated of his transport trucks for 55 years, he drove throughout Canada, USA, and Mexico, until he retired at the age of 76. He was also a long-time member of the Georgian Bay Hunters and Anglers Club. William was an avid reader, he enjoyed playing Euchre, and working in his large vegetable garden. As a younger man he enjoyed going to dances and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Arrangements entrusted to LeClair Cremation Centre Midland, Ontario. Memorial donations can be made to the charity of choice if you wish.
