Daniel Ebert Obituary

Daniel Blake Ebert passed away July 27, 2024, and was predeceased by his parents Dan and Blanche.

He is survived by his partner Laurel, sister and brother- in- law Laurie and Rob, nephews Daniel (Emily) and Maxwell. Dan will be remembered fondly by his extended family and friends. He was born in New Westminster, grew up in Maple Ridge, and lived many years in Squamish. He always remembered the many trips he took as a child with his parents and Laurie. He was very happy with his career path as a sign maker. Artistic in nature, Dan took great pleasure in his designs and his ability to create. Dan had a wicked sense of humor, came up with so many great lines and enjoyed a good laugh.

Behind Dan's sometimes edgy exterior, he was a very kind, caring person and truly loved his family and friends. He was a unique person, was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.

Celebration of Life service will be announced at a future date.

Wasn't able to attend Dan's memorial on Sept. 28th so I spent some time that afternoon remembering the good times we all had at the place he shared with Candy on 2nd Avenue, eating & smoking at their logging spool dining room table, listening to his comedy albums but most of all the magical summer days and nights we spent at Brohm Lake in the 70s when we had it all to ourselves. Best regards to Dan's partner and family.
