As longtme neighbors and friends, so sorry to hear of Don's passing. Loved the occasional golf game and the wonderful chats over the back fence. A blessing in disguise as there is no more pain, only peace and a wonderful golf course for Don to play through on. Rest in peace, dear neighbor, until we meet again.

Dad always had a lot of confidence in me and supported me many ways. He made sure I could go to university and get the career that I had for which I'm very grateful. I remember dads concern for Maggie and mom. The recurring question dad always had was 'How's Maggie' or 'How is mom' to which the answer was always 'she is doing just fine'. Even when dad wasn't doing well he was always concerned for them. I love you dad and miss you.

As part of Don's extended family, who has experienced his kindness and sense of humour, and seen the good job he did in bringing up his children, I share some of his family's sense of loss. He braved the last two years of his life and the many challenges that came his way. I think of his long life and the care he took of his family, following his many moves and changes of employment to care for them. He was and is loved. This is good to know.

It is a sad time for me. Don was a good brother and a great friend. I will remember our families camping times together, then our sister and the six of us had lots of laughs and enjoying the good times, having New Years dinner with six of us crammed in to our rig it was much laughter and a very good memory. My daughters always like when he and Leona came to visit. Our child hood was good we didn't have much but love, food and a roof over our heads, lots of fun on the far, RIP Don, your were my hero and I will miss you greatly. Have a golf game with Walt, Gord, Grace , Tony and Andy, you can teach mom and ad a. New game. My love Betty
