Passed Away - April 25, 2014, St. Albert, Alberta

The family of Douglas Allan Dingman is saddened to announce his passing on April 25, 2014.

He is survived by his children: Jane (Nick) Donofrio, Peter (Sarah) Dingman, Alaina Dingman (Lee Wilding), and Trish Dingman; eight grandchildren: Nikki (Deron) Howard, John (Carol-Lynn) Donofrio, Misty Donofrio, Michele Dingman, Brieanna Wilding, Zachary Dingman, Chantalle Wilding, and Taylor Dingman; three great-grandchildren: Austin Donofrio, Teagan Donofrio, and Zoey Donofrio.

He was predeceased by his son, Paul (2000), and his wife, Florence (2002).

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at St. Jean Baptiste Catholic Church, 10020-100 Avenue, Morinville, Alberta.

Memorial donations in Douglas' name may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta & NWT,

My sincere condolences to all the family. I saw Uncle Doug a few years ago when he was visiting my Mom and Pat in Cobourg with Aunt Helen and Uncle Archie. When I saw him, he reminded me of Grandpa Dingman(his dad). There is a picture of me with Uncle Doug and Aunt Florence at their wedding and they were holding my hand. I think I was about 2 years old then and was wearing an enormous white bonnet.
