On Behalf and in Honor of my Mother Elizabeth Gunther (nee Holunga) Our Deepest Condolences.

My Mother Elizabeth (betty)nee Holunga passed recently in 2016.

My Mother was staying with the Robertson family during 1950-51, while attending school in Roblin. During this time she keep a diary. i have been reading it since my own mothers passing.
Some of the passages in her diary were as follows:
dated Jan 07/1951 "Tiny Harry Robertson starting walking this morning".
Jan 13/51"Grandma Robertson went to town with Ida this afternoon with the cab, I am baby sitting."
Mar 18/51 Mrs Robertson brought up my dinner, nice tray with linen cloth, tomato soup, 2 pieces toast, 3 buns, big chunk of butter, peanut butter, honey , glass of milk, 3 Easter eggs and a pineapple Fruit".
June 16/51 Patty slept with me last night. Mrs Rob and Patty went up town I baby sat, washed, ironed, packed a little. "
June 17/51 "My Dad and family came over to Robertson at 12:15 for me. The Robertson served lunched. Mrs Robertson took a Picture of me. We cried and kissed when we parted." (her last day with your Lovely Family)

I never read my mothers diary until just the other day. Although i do remember stories mom would tell me of her stay in the Robertson home. Always with warmth and happiness, Thank you for being a part of my mother life. God bless. may they both rest in peace.

Sincerely
Kurt (Elizabeth Holunga's Youngest son)
