Albert Willms was probably the most important and inspiring teacher of my High School years at Parkside, He taught me about darkroom photography, love of food, generosity and cameraderie, and most important, personal integrity. I wish I had been able to communicate with him in recent years, but sadly, the internet often allows us to track downimportant people in our lives only too late.

My sincerest condolences. Mr Willms was a favorite teacher when I was a student at Parkside High School. He was also in charge of the photography club. I graduated the year he retired. He was fun, thoughtful and kind.

Mr Willms was my German teacher at Parkside High School. That was ~35 years ago but I still have such terrific memories of the fun he brought to learning. What a kind, kind man.

I met Albert at Parkwood as a student Chaplain and was honored that Albert gave me honest, critical and useful feedback as I began my ministry. I will miss seeing Albert cycling through the neighborhood. His joie de vivre was beyond compare. May his family feel the comfort of God's embrace as you grieve and miss Albert. In deepest sympathy, Glenda

Albert was one of the most kind-hearted and generous people I have had the privilege to meet here at Parkwood Mennonite Home. His smile and energy was guaranteed to light up the room every where he went. I will always remember his elevator jokes, hearing stories of his bike ride adventures, his lecture on how the loud music in my car will eventually make me deaf, and the way he could recite 'The Road Not Taken' by Robert Frost by heart, to name a few. It was a true blessing and honor to know him, and I will never forget him. And as a side note, I haven't blasted the music in my car ever since. Rest in peace, my friend.
