Aldo GUALTIERI

It is with great sadness that the family of Aldo Gualtieri announces his passing at his residence, surrounded by his family on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at the age of 74. His courageous battle with cancer is over. He will always be loved and never forgotten by his family: Beloved wife of 50 years Brenda; loving children Jennifer (Stephen) Pickett and Michael (Amy) and his cherished grandchildren Madison, Joseph, Kendra, Isabella, Benjamin, Victoria and the late Aldo James (Michael) and Antonio Joseph (Jennifer). He is predeceased by his parents, Salvatore (1976) and Margherita (1995). Aldo is survived by his siblings, Alfredo (the late Caterina), Leonardo (Barbara), Evelino (Janina) and Chiara (Alberico) Del Gobbo. He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Aldo was born in Italy on July 25, 1947. In 1950 the family moved to Argentina, where they lived until immigrating to Canada in 1957. He joined Local 303 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) in 1968, retiring in 2012. Aldo was more than an electrician. He was truly a "Jack of all trades". He loved working on cars, especially his pride and joy, his 1975 MGB. His greatest joy was having his family, especially his grandchildren, around the table for Sunday suppers. Relatives and friends will be received at BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Thursday, December 2, 2021, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11 a.m. Please call 905-227-0161 for a reservation to attend Mass. All Covid policies will be followed, guests must bring and wear a mask. Rite of Committal Lakeview Cemetery.
