Alex CHRISTOFF Obituary
July 29, 1929 - February 17, 2021 It is with great sadness that the family of Alexander Christoff announces his passing on February 17, 2021 at the Welland Hospital. Alex was 91 years old. Alex was born in Oba, Ontario where he and his family owned and operated the only general store in town. He later moved to Welland and was employed at Atlas Steels for 30 years. Predeceased by his father Peter Christoff, mother Anita (Christoff) Stoyka, brothers Chris (Edythe), Daniel (Vicky) and sister Helen Torch (Jim). He was loved and will also be missed by Bob Torch (Laura), Debby Lafleur (Mike), Gail, Gwen, Peter Christoff (Heather), Kim, Rick Christoff (Nancy) and Jerry Stoyka (Doreen). Alex's hobbies included music, bowling, the Toronto Maple Leafs and thoroughbred horse racing. Alex was always there for his family. In honouring Alex's wishes, cremation has taken place and due to COVID-19, no service will take place at this time. Online condolences available at www.cudneyfuneralhome.com

So sorry to hear of Alex passing. I delivered Meals on Wheels to him years back. He was always so friendly and cheerful. My condolences to his family.

My condolences to the family, I remember Alex coming to visit his sister Helen and Jim and their family and brother Daniel ,sister-in-law Vicki and their family on Riverside Drive, he was always smiling and laughing, so much fun to be around. Such a nice man!
