Anita Goegan Obituary

Anita Goegan passed away peacefully in her home on January 30, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Rino Goegan (2014) for 63 years. Loving mother of Vince Goegan (Lorrie) & Wendy VanKralingen. Cherished grandmother to Tyler VanKralingen (Heather), Stacie VanKralingen (Marco), Matt Goegan (Stacie), Erica Webb (Shaun), Denise Goegan (David) and 7 great grandchildren Logan, Abbie, Claire, Gavin, Deacon, Everett and Sam.
Anita, a retired Bell operator and stay at home mom, did not shy away from living. She was up for anything whether it be a trip to Las Vegas, a road trip across Canada or walking the beaches of Hawaii and Florida. Bingo, card nights with friends, camping, feeding the racoons and fishing are a few of the many activities she enjoyed throughout the years. The simplest pleasures in life brought joy to Anita and above all she loved spending time with friends and family and of course her lovely dog Maggie. In her later years you would find her enjoying a good ball game with an even better bowl of chocolate ice cream. She will be greatly missed by loved ones who will honour her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. At Anita's request, cremation has taken place. A private family service will take place at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne. Memorial donations may be made to the Niagara SPCA and Humane Society. Online photos, memories, condolences and donations may be shared at www.armstrongfuneralhome.ca
