Antonia "Toni" Conidi

We are deeply saddened that after a lengthy illness, with her family at her side at the Welland County General Hospital, Toni passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022 at the age of 69. Beloved wife of Francesco Conidi of 48 years and cherished mother of Joseph (Candace) Conidi, Anthony (Sarah) Conidi and Christina Conidi (Vincenzo Bucci). Loving nanna of Francesco, Santino, Luca, Matteo and Liliana. Toni will be forever missed by her dear sister Nora (Mark) Szczepaniak and her niece Allesandra Szczepaniak and nephew Lucas Szczepaniak. Loving sister-in-law of the late Vincenzo (Giovanna), Caterina (Giuseppe), Tommoso (the late Anna), Foca (Antonia), Vito (Caterina), Barbara (John) and Anna (Giuseppe). She leaves behind many aunts, uncles cousins, nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. She is predeceased by her parents Antonio and Antonia Provenzano and in-laws Giuseppe and Antonia Conidi. Toni was born in Filadelfia, Italy in 1952 and came to Canada in 1956. She was the proud founder and owner of Pasta Fresca where she made authentic Italian food. She was hard working and a perfectionist, it was important to her that her recipes where followed precisely so her customers would be guaranteed to receive the same best food that they came to expect. She had the biggest heart, was strong willed and felt comfortable sharing her opinions with others. Above all she loved her family, was a great friend to everyone. She will be forever loved and missed. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Thursday, June 23, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Scapular Church. The Rite of Committal will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
