Betty-Lou Sproat Obituary

It's with deep sadness that I share with you the peaceful passing of my Mother on Friday, August 27, 2021 of lung cancer at my home in Ridgeway. Cam and I were fortunate to honor my mother's wishes. Joined by Alex and Kayley, Emily and Ethan, and great-grandchildren Maverick and Wesley, we all stood together in the final moments drinking champagne and sharing stories, that was the best way we could honor my Mother's life. My Mother is now with her husband Bruce and two daughters, Tammy and Lisa. Celebration of life will take place in October as we acknowledge my mother's birthday.
I would like to thank Dr. Kim Sher for the best palliative care. We were very lucky to have you guide us and support us with the best end of life care for my Mother. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Our appreciation also goes to Dr. Olosfe, for outstanding family care and taking care of both my parents. Finally, I would like to thank the angels on earth that helped me personally, Martha and John, Harriette, Penny Alise, Ben and Janice, Jane and Mark, Keith and Henny, and Kenny for being there every step of the way. She knew you were all here and valued that.
Melinda, sisters for life.
In lieu of flowers, Cam and I would appreciate donations to Hospice Niagara, to help families that can't keep their loved ones at home and who deserve the absolute best end of life care.
Mom, enjoy your reunion with Dad, Tammy and Lisa and all your friends who have left us. I'm sure you are with Keith and Sylvia enjoying happy hour! We will hang out here for a while and join you later.
Love your daughter,
Leslie

Heartfelt condolences to Leslie, Kayley and Alex. Betty was a longtime neighbour on Balmoral Place. Betty was such a nice person, friendly, thoughtful and kind. So nice to our girls growing up. Their home was always so well kept and beautiful. We all have many nice memories of Betty and Bruce (funniest guy there was ! ) So glad they are now reunited. All of our condolences
to their family. Larry and Barb, Carly, Emily and Julia Dugo
