Beverly Forgette Obituary

Passed away at her home at Portal Village, Port Colborne on July 20, 2022, at the age of 89 years. She is survived by her sister Gail Roach Davi and her brother-in-law Sal. Her niece Sarah and her husband Mike Maddock, her niece Sheila and her husband Randy Tuttle, and her nephew Chris and his wife Ruthanna. She is survived by her many grand nieces and nephews Emily and her husband Andrew, Katherine, Caroline, Brennan, Andrew, Nathan and Elizabeth and her only great-grandniece Madeline. Beverly was predeceased by her mother Ann Marshall Roach, her father John David Roach, and her brother John Thomas Roach. Beverly was born and raised in Buffalo, NY on October 25, 1932. She graduated from Syracuse University School of Nursing and has dedicated her professional life to caring for others. She retired from her distinguished career as the President of a Home Nursing Association in the Los Angeles area. In 1991 Beverly received her landed immigrant status and moved to Port Colborne, home of both of her parents. The family would like to express our deepest gratitude and thanks to the staff at Portal Village and all others for their genuine kindness and caring for Beverly over the many years. You all have been her Canadian family. At her request cremation has taken place. Beverly will lie beside her dearly beloved mother, father, and brother at Mount St. Joseph Cemetery. A private burial will take place in the fall. Funeral arrangements entrusted to DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME, 135 Clarence Street, Port Colborne.
